Last 28 October 2017, Nuffnang Philippines in partnership with Faber-Castell invited bloggers for a workshop on creative flatlay and color mixing. It was held at Acceler8 Co-working Space located in Makati. The workshop was facilitated by Tippy Go of GooglyGooeys.com.
I have always been inlove with Faber-Castell products since I was a kid. So when I got invited for this workshop, I was so thrilled and excited!
It was actually my first time to attend a workshop for bloggers and I did not imagine it was gonna be super fun and useful to aspiring bloggers like me. I guess there is a first time for everything! haha I have started blogging when I was still in college and it has always been a dream for me to make creative posts, and contents that everyone would enjoy reading or looking at.
Thanks to Tippy who has shared her knowledge, lots of advice and tips on how to create beautiful flatlays using the resources around us which I could definitely use in my posts. I remember her saying that we should not be afraid to mix things put in different colors because one way or another, it will surely compliment each other.

At the start of the workshop, we were given Faber-Castell products which are amazing!! The products are so beautiful that no one wanted to use them right away, nobody wanted to mess it up. hahaha
During the workshop we were taught how to mix colors to create different colors. I was amaze with how much we can do with three basic colors – red, yellow and blue.Ā We were also taught the different techniques using watercolor.
In this world full of millennials, Instagram is one of the most popular social media forms to date. Everyone is kinda OC when it comes to their feed which I think this kind of color mixing techniques can be used. For example my instagram account, I don’t have the best feed in the world but as you can see, I just love mixing colors and make sure that I create a happy feed which is pleasing to the eye.
Aside from all the learning, one thing I loved most about the workshop was being able to meet other bloggers, young people with the same passion.
I was also one of the lucky winners of Faber-Castell’s raffle draw! yay! #definelucky
Thank you Nuffnang Philippines and Faber-Castell for organizing the workshop and for inviting me! I had super fun and I will surely use the things I’ve learned in creating posts and contents! Until next time! #Fabercastellbloggersday is definitely one for the books! š
Love,
